Managing Leaves, Including the Family and Medical Leave Act (webinar)
Human resources professionals will learn about employers' responsibilities with respect to the New York State Paid Family Leave Program, which goes into effect January 1, 2018. Presenters will also provide an overview of other leave benefits including: bereavement, voting, blood donor, and jury duty. This webinar is presented by the SHRM student chapter. Applying the 20 Critical Controls for Risk Assessment (webinar)
It's National Cyber Security Awareness Month and Dr. Andrew Hurd, Faculty Program Director for Cybersecurity, is helping raise awareness by presenting this CSIAC webinar to introduce attendees to the Center for Internet Security (CIS) Top 20 Security Controls. The "Top 20" is an industry accepted framework for cybersecurity managers to address all elements within and threats to a network. Thursday, October 26, 2017, 12 - 1 pm ET. Registration required.

Dr. Santhosh Abraham of Excelsior's School of Business & Technology will highlight the relevance of transferable skills gained in research that are important within a business setting. New Link for News
The Alumni Office always wants to know what's new with you and we have a new process for submitting your Alumni Notes. You can find the Alumni Notes form on the Alumni Community homepage by clicking on the menu at the top of the page. We want to know if you've received a promotion, accepted a job, enrolled in a degree program, or completed a professional development opportunity. Don't forget to share your personal accomplishments, too, such as community service and awards. Submissions may be published in Excelsior College Magazine.
